On the 'Brink Art Installation Festival
On the ‘Brink celebrates the creativity and innovation of artists working in or about Niagara. The festival provides an opportunity for members of the community to experience and learn about installation art, meet local artists and enjoy the stunning natural landscape at RiverBrink.
For the festival this year, we engage with the idea of art-making as a mode of memory preservation, that reflect on the role of monuments in public space, that address the question of who gets heeded/represented by monuments, and/or that explore how site, materials, and form encode memory.
