Each February, the Ontario Heritage Trust invites Ontarians to participate in Ontario Heritage Week to celebrate heritage in all its forms (cultural and natural, architectural, archaeological and collections), its diverse traditions and cultural expressions.
For Heritage Week, RiverBrink is hosting a selection of historical photographs and vintage cameras from Lucky’s Lens. This local legacy project, dedicated to preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage and stories of our communities, showcases the history and physical transformations of the Niagara Region. The display at RiverBrink provides a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how community history is preserved and commemorated, and how our stories will be shared in the future. The mission of Lucky's Lens is to create a lasting legacy by capturing the essence of diverse cultures and fostering a sense of unity through the power of storytelling. We aspire to inspire, educate, and connect communities through film and photography. FREE. Donations welcome. |
