CALL FOR ARTISTS
THE STUDIO GALLERY at RiverBrink Art Museum
WHO CAN APPLY: Applications are open to artists and artisans in the Niagara region. Artists can apply as a group or individuals. If exhibiting as a group, please note all group members should indicate the same title name. All group members need to apply individually if exhibiting together.
JURIED ENTRY: All applications will be juried "blind" meaning that no names will be given to the jurors as they consider the works. Please submit up to 3-4 good quality JPG's of the work to be exhibited, no 'sold' pieces and no reproductions. Include a short bio or artist statement (no more than 50 words). If artists are sharing the space, each must apply individually. The shows will need a title and description. All individual artists requesting to exhibit together must indicate the same title.
The subject matter of all entries must be 'family friendly'. If any work at the time of set-up doesn't meet this criterion it will be removed by the organizers.
WHAT CAN BE SUBMITTED: Paintings, photography, pottery, glasswork, jewelry, small sculpture, serigraph or Lino carvings, calligraphy.
DATES: Every third weekend beginning in May-September. Saturday and Sunday. 10am-4pm

FEES: $250.00 in total for the 2 days (the Studio space is 22’x23’ and can be used by one artist or be shared with multiple artists to share the cost as a group- please identify your show title or group name through your individual applications).
Accepted applicants must be or become Members of RiverBrink Art Museum (Adult Membership $40 and Senior Membership $45) and take *liability insurance for the 2 days in the gallery. When accepted the artist(s) will pay the full fee and confirm their RiverBrink membership.
*INSURANCE: Artists must have 2-day liability insurance and show a copy with their final payment.
POSTERS AND ADVERTISING: JPGs for the exhibiting artists POSTER must be submitted by April 30th to be approved and distributed on social media by RiverBrink. Artists are responsible for advertising and distributing the posters for their show. The artists contact links will be shared through RiverBrink marketing.
SET UP: Artists will be permitted to set up on the Friday before their scheduled Studio Gallery dates. Set up time will be 3-5pm. Artists will be provided a table and chair (if needed), available wall space, and participants are required to bring their own additional display items.
SALES: Artists are responsible for conducting their own sales.
ARTIST(S) IN THE GALLERY: An artist must be present in the gallery at all times from 10am-4pm. Shifts can be arranged if there are multiple artists showing together.
CLEANING UP: All garbage must be removed every day and at show’s end the gallery left clean.
TAKE DOWN: The show will be struck on Sunday from 4-5pm
