What do we all have in common? Years of stories- experiences and lessons learned throughout our lives. In this workshop, author Sean Mitton will introduce participants to the fun and easy process of question-based mapping, a way to recall and record impactful life moments. Mind-mapping is a skill that boasts many benefits, including the potential to improve memory retention, creative-thinking and understanding, through organizing information visually, and breaking it down into smaller, manageable chunks, making it easier to recall and remember details.
Sean will guide you through the process of creating your own mind-map, which you can then go on to develop into your own memory book or autobiography. We will also explore ways in which art can act as a trigger for memories, through viewing and discussing a selection of art works from the RiverBrink collection. With Mind Map certification from Mind Meister, Sean is a passionate Mind Mapper, who has created over 1000 Mind Maps during the last 20 years for business and personal applications.
Workshop Highlights (90 minutes)
