Two Watercolour Workshops

Award winning watercolourist Janice Opie will be conducting two watercolour workshops at RiverBrink Art Museum: for the creation of “Cool Creek” using a rich unsaturated palette. This three hour workshop includes watercolour techniques such as wet in wet, wet on dry, negative painting, lost edges and more. Janice will give a step by step demo then guide students in their own creation. This class is open to students of all levels, though some experience with watercolour is helpful.

A support for paper
Watercolour brushes (please also feel free to use RiverBrink's brushes)
Water container
Pigments suggested colours are thalo blue, viridian green, lemon yellow, ultramarine blue, paynes grey or neutral tint, burnt sienna. Any favourites as well if preferred.
