Professional Artist and Educator Lenore Walker works in all media and has developed a fun and free approach to painting with watercolour. Her fluid “float” style is unique and brings a new spontaneity to using this popular medium. In this class, Lenore will help you create a colourful, watery surface that allows the colours to blend themselves to form large shapes & impressionistic renderings.
This technique will free you from the perfectionism that can set in from locking onto fine detail too soon in the process. Colour, pattern & texture shifts will bring your paintings to life and renew your appreciation for the medium with this alternative approach. The subject matter for this course will focus on creating samplers for fun and landscapes that are colourful and interesting to help you use this technique.
