(one historic walking tour included - value $15) |
As the exhibition Queenston Village continues, join RiverBrink Art Museum on an exclusive spring historic walking tour of the scenic village of Queenston. Guided by artist-instructor Winifred Henstock and RiverBrink staff, this walking tour invites you to create plein-air watercolor sketches of the stunning landscapes and heritage sites along the way, all while learning about the rich local history.
By the end of the workshop, you will develop skills to make quick sketches with paint and use a limited palette to create expressive watercolour paintings. Winifred has been a professional artist for over 25 years. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and Toronto Watercolor Society.
Don’t miss this opportunity to improve your artistic skills while enjoying the beautiful spring weather at the Queenston Village!
Material list:
A portable easel (or a stool if you don’t have an easel)
A sketchbook of watercolour paper (recommended) or just watercolour paper
Watercolour paints of three primary colours (Red, yellow, and blue)
RiverBrink will provide palettes and brushes!
