Brian McFarlane is regarded as Canada's foremost hockey historian. Most Canadians know him as the long-time host and commentator on Hockey Night in Canada. He has written over 90 books on hockey and in 1995 he was inducted into the media section of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
After he retired, McFarlane rediscovered his love for painting. He now combines his love of hockey and art in his serene winter landscapes, depicting the classic Canadian pastime of pond hockey. McFarlane will discuss his new chapter as an artist. This talk will be followed by a brief Q&A and refreshments. McFarlane’s books and paintings will also be available for sale in our giftshop.
