Join Barbara Bedell and Lil Haworth from the Garden Club of Niagara for this live floral arrangement demonstration. Barb and Lil will take you through the process of creating whimsical floral arrangements inspired by artworks on display at RiverBrink Art Museum! Registration to this event includes entry into a draw to win one of two floral designs to take home with you!
Barbara Bedell is the President of Garden Clubs of Ontario, past president of the Garden Club of Niagara, as well as an accredited Floral Design judge, competing and judging floral design locally and internationally. Involved in designing since the 70’s, Barb began working in flower shops, before a long career as an illustrator and graphic designer. She has been an active member of the Garden Club of Niagara for 21 years teaching, demonstrating and furthering her knowledge of Floral Art and Horticulture. Tending a sprawling and ever-changing perennial garden is her passion.
Lil Howarth is a founding member of the Garden Club of Niagara and continues to be active in the club and with other design and horticulture clubs. She is an accredited judge of Design and Horticulture, demonstrating, exhibiting, teaching and judging both locally and internationally for over 30 years. Working in her Grimsby garden is one of her “happy places.”
